Cheapest place for wine in Singapore: Wine Connection + O'ma Spoon Dessert

Have been into chill drinking with my friends/bf recently instead of just getting drunk/high at clubs. Why not wine? Its a healthier option! :)

Back for some more short updates!! Cause I'm actually restoring my phone again for the fourth time this week LOL so alot of time to spare stoning in front of itunes -__- But do you guys enjoy frequent short updates or looong posts? Do feedback! ^^

So I will be writing about one of my favorite cheap drinking hangout spots recently!~ (If you read my dayre you would already know)

(They have many outlets, but we tend to go to the one in town, Somerset!)

Wine connection is by far a restaurant which offers the widest and most affordable ranges of wine I ever knew in Singapore. haha the boss prolly orders wholesale wine in bulks, then can sell at such low prices! hahaha. 

So far I have been there thrice, the other two times to drink a bottle of wine and the last visit, I had a sweet creme brulee to accompany my drinks. 

This day was my first visit where we decided to dine here too. 

Ordered their 

Terra Mater Sauvignon Blanc 

which actually tasted quite pleasant for a price tag of only $30/32 bucks (I forgot) per bottle?!?!

The price of their wine ranges from as low as 28 bucks.......... what a steal.

Con: Their bread baskets need to be paid for and not complimentary ($3) 

Not complaining cause the items on their food menu is pretty affordable as well.

Mushroom Soup with Truffle Oil ($7)

The price of their appetizers and sides here almost matches up with their cheap mains hahaha

Their fresh made pastas:

Salmon Ravioli ($16)

Chorizo Fettuccine ($16)

Spicy spanish fettuccine with pepperonis

Food was ooookay I guess can try but I think the price tag of their wines fares better for a visit here. Perhaps I would try their pizzas next visit! :)

Tried another crowded place for desserts in town (weather too hot). I guess their bingsus fared as one of the better ones I've tried in Singapore, super huge servings and generous with the amount of condensed milk customers can take *.*

Daylight robbery for bingsu as well hehe 

Mango Cheesecake Bingsu ($18.90)

but this shaved ice was yummy & I guess we all have to make some sacrifices for the weather :P
