First time using my phone to update on Wordpress & I find the interphase rather updated compared to blogger’s dead app sigh 🤔🤔 I really do not want to betray my loyalty to blogger for Wordpress 😹

Testing the functions out by writing about my long overdued trip to JB last august(?! LOL) with a few of my favorite batchies.

With Leo-San hehehe my fav Taiwanese boy batchmate (because he is the first Taiwanese guy I know in my life la 😹😹😹) can’t wait for the Istanbul trip in around a weeks time with him already!!! First time working for a long trip with a good friend hehehe it’s gna b fun 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Anyway back to the main topic of the post. As it’s the Taiwaneses’ first time into Johor Bahru Malaysia, I had to bring them to one of my favorite curry fish head evaaa near city square & the customs.

Btw now Kam Loong renovated slightly and they initially started out with only the ground floor but now seatings are open at the second floor which is vandilated with air conditioning now.

Lucky them, 1st time eat here got air con already. I eat 6 years then have 🤭

JB for me is a short getaway for FOOD & stocking up of some necessities at their Watson’s or smth which will be slightly cheaper than SG’s prices so off we go for some cafe hopping action right after our lunch 😂😂

the cafe scene in JB has been rly expanding but we picked one which I’ve always wanted to try to chill at. The graffiti & wall murals around the area are glistening as well ✨✨

Yup & for those who asked in my dms, I got these popular self-heated mala hotpot sets at one of the foody shops in the basement of the mall. One was around 10 SGD or so I forgot hahaha. I influenced everyone to get them then LOL

Went to the hidden (local but not so local joint) food centre near the area for our 1st dinner - Cedar Point Food Court.

The stalls selling tze char there is damn shiok okay we are talking yummy fried rice, sambal bbq seafood etc

Went to eat lok lok as well cos one of Leo's ex uni mate was in JB and he drove us around~

Usually I'll have my loklok at Restoran Ah Piaw (famous abalone noodles) near customs but I finally got to try another lok lok place with the famous lala soup (clam soup)!

Decided to have 3rd round desserts which was durians nearby hahaha

Unfortunately we couldn't get fenny to eat the king of them fruits

Whilst going back we grabbed a frappe from starbucks and it was some acai blended ice frappe which was the august special in 2017 and it was DAMN GOOD!!! I rmb being addicted to it for awhile. Bucks, you better make a comeback with this hahaha

I forgot what I had but their pastries is so damn good I think this was like choc chip pandan muffin or smth hahahahhaah finished it all on the cab otw back home la
