Redpan for our 8th Month Dinz

New venture by DP Architects & Grub Singapore bringing restaurant food with a local twist for our 8th monthsary dinner~

Unique collaboration of Architect group + Grub Sg food team = nicely cop-orated restaurant elements.

Even the sketch on the menu seems well designed!

Woodchuck Hard Raspberry Cider

Lychee Earl Grey Tea ($5)

Truffle Floss Fries ($8)
Fries with truffle aioli, chives and chicken floss. Our favourite dish among all.

Prawn & 'Hae Bi Hiam' Pasta ($16)
Tagliatelle tossed with housemade spicy shrimp paste, sakura ebi and sauteed prawns. Felt too local for my liking, taste like fried noodles from a hawker which was slightly dissapointing.

Steak & Chinchalok ($21)
Grilled sirloin steak (250g) with housemade spicy chinchalok, pickled onions and smashed potatoes. Taste was there, bringing chinchalok spices alongside steak was clever, but the steak they gave us, 150g was tendons and bone parts lol, the other 100g maybe meat. Bf was annoyed LOL.

Overall had higher expectations of the place so doubt I'll be back. Standard seems to not be consistent like Grub's. Having some good reviews, some bad reviews. Will recommend to go for the sides rather than the mains if you are heading there.

Happy 8th month my dear! Even though we always choose unlucky options for our celebratory dinners most of the time hahahahaha
and we waited so long to get a table at Redpan since it was a friday night ~.~ and the food was just ~.~ = ~~~~...~~~~
