Nouvelle Fusion Kitchen & Bar - Fusion food and Tapas introduced by Sakae Holdings

Bold new dining concept of modern style culinary  introduced by Sakae Holdings brings fusion fine dining inspired cuisine from prices as low as $1.50!!

Located at SCAPE in Somerset, this could be the new dining spot for town-goers since everything is pretty much the same around town and now we can go for something different.

The interior of Nouvelle is super classy and elegant, you can already spot the difference and new statement they are trying to make in comparison to their Flagship brand Sakae Sushi.

We were seated at their VIP private seating area which is good for events with Crystal chandeliers hanging above us and red glass beads.

I would suggest to go for their mains, inclusive of

The Curry Chicken Risotto ($18)
Risotto clearly tasted like japanese curry accompanied by a chicken corden bleu - chicken battered with ham and cheese within.

Beef Sirloin ($18)
One of my top picks here as the meat tasted delicious, texture not like the usual tough steaks but more similarity to japanese wagyu's, dipped in the accompanied sauces. 

Duck Confit ($22)
Another favourite from the table, this duck confit was near perfection with tender meat and crispy skin. 

Truffle Cod Risotto ($22)
 The most approved dish which everyone wanted second servings of was this, reason being obvious as the risotto served was bursting truffle goodness alongside a sweet japanese cod fish.

Their selection of hot drinks ranges from prettily decorated flower tea flasks to hot chocolate, organic soya milk and coffee.

Ice lemon tea ($7)

Matcha Miruku ($13)
Green Matcha latte portion big enough to be shared between two people, and placing dry-ice for the smoky effect in the flask was a great presentation idea. Love this drink! Tasted so good :)

If you guys are hungry while waiting for their mains, $1.50 fusion tapas can be picked up from the conveyor belt in Nouvelle.

Mushroom Tartlets with Feta Cheese - bursting of truffle taste

Amaebi with Mentaiko - the prawns were so sweet

I also liked their Aburi sushi picks.
King Salmon Belly with Foie Gras (my favourite!!)

Hokkaido Scallop

and more Amaebi with Mentai Cheese *.*

Other desserts were also available either on the menu or the chocolate coated vanilla ice-cream from the conveyor belt going at $1.50 as well.
